Skechers Silent Disco

My kids, Olivia, Jack and I were recently part of a store opening for Skechers at Garden City in Brisbane. Skechers launched the store with a “Silent Disco”. Now I’d never heard of a silent disco but when they invited Liv and Jack to come, I knew it would be anything but “Silent”.

The concept is, you put wireless headphones on and dance to the song playing, you can choose from two songs. Olivia requested Katy Perry and after coming to terms with the fact they didn’t have her song “Roar”, off she went singing at the top of her lungs and dancing her little heart out. Her little shadow, Jack, followed closely behind. Both were busting it out in their Skechers Twinkle Toes as they lit up the dance floor. They had an absolute ball with their friends and didn’t want to leave, I have no idea who they got that from.

Twinkle Toes are a shoe we have always purchased for Olivia from the time she could walk. As she takes a step or jumps around they light up and come in a variety of bright colours and fun designs.

The Skechers brand is fun, healthy and family orientated. The GOwalk shoe is the comfiest shoe I have ever worn. Since having children when wearing heels, my feet swell so bad it’s embarrassing. AFL Grand Final week I had to wear heels everyday, something I have not done for many many years. When I put my GOwalk’s on at the end of it all, I can’t tell you how good it felt. Literally foot therapy, medicine for my feet. Whether you are walking the dog, dancing around the lounge room with your kids or on your feet all day at work, I highly recommend you try a pair. You can thank me later.

Do you think I could get away with a pair for Derby Day?? Maybe not dressy enough for The Birdcage but they will go straight back on the next day.
